All RIGCHINA Filter Press Assemblies consist of a mud reservoir mounted in a frame, a pressure source, a filtering medium, and a graduated cylinder for receiving and measuring filtrate. Suitable for field and laboratory use, these units have become the industry standard for low pressure/low temperature filtration testing.

Multiple Unit Filter Press Assemblies permit simultaneous running of one to six filtration tests. Each one of the assemblies consists of a frame with the indicated number of complete filter cells. Manifolds are complete with air hoses, cut-offs and bleeder valves, but do not include pressure regulators and hoses,  for connection to compressed air or nitrogen systems.

Working pressure is 100 psi and the filtering area is 7.1-in², as specified in the American Petroleum Institute, API Recommended Practice 13B-1 and 13B-2.

The FPA-6A API Multiple Unit Filter Presses use the same cell configuration as the single unit listed earlier in this section. The cell assemblies are constructed of rustproof stainless steel and chrome plated brass. All required screens and gaskets are also provided.
