1. Purpose & characteristics

The RIGCHINA ® Model NRC-35 viscometer a new type direct indicating instruments, this is a doddle to control with its well-designed on-screen, the intelligence Single-Chip Computer system is commissioned in instruments which are available in six speed and 12 speed designs for use on either 50 Hz or 60 Hz electrical power. The standard power source is 220 volts.

The test fluid is contained in the annular space or shear gap between the cylinders. Rotation of the outer cylinder at known velocities is accomplished through precision gearing. The viscous drag exerted by the fluid creates a torque on the inner cylinder or bob. This torque is transmitted to a precision spring where its deflection is measured and then related to the test conditions and instrument constants. This system permits the true simulation of most significant flow process conditions encountered in industrial processing.

It applies to viscosity measurement of drilling fluid in all the big oil fields, scientific research institutions and laboratories and it also applies to geology, chemical industry, coal, wine making and etc.
